Imagine waking up in the morning, yawning as you get your pot of coffee going, and looking out the window to take in the new day. Fox’s American Idol just can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight. Along with news that next season will feature auditions in Puerto Rico comes word that Kristy Lee Cook (remember her?) has signed with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville. The question is, does it match up to the hype?
Tuesday’s 2008 BET Awards have been dubbed by some to have been the best yet, and it’s easy to see why. Stars from Alicia Keyes to Big Boi graced the red carpet, the amazing Quincy Jones and Al Green received honorary awards, and the performances were just plain awesome.
